Christmas Pajamas!!!

Even though it is getting harder I still try to match the kids pajamas at Christmas. This can be difficult when you have boys and girls but I will do my best to keep it up for as long as I can. Who knows maybe next year I will try to get some for Tom and I!!! I am sure he will love that!!!

Hat Day at school!! OH MY!!!

I will admit that Tom and I were a little nervous that Carsen wanted to wear his Goofy hat to school for hat day. Plus, he said that it wouldn't be complete without the Goofy shirt. This really threw me over the edge. My biggest fear was that someone was going to make fun of him. Tom really tried to talk him out of it but he was dead set on wearing it. It's funny when you stop and think about it how much we learn from our kids. He is just being himself and he doesn't care what others think of him. This day in particular it was my son who taught me a lesson. I will be the first to admit that this happens often!!! When I picked him up from school he was still smiling from ear to ear. I asked him if everyone liked his hat and he said "Of course they did mommy!!!" What a sweet little boy!!!

How Sweet!!!

There are so many things I like about these pictures. The first is that Carsen is 7 and still sleeps with his teddy every night!! I don't know if he would tell people at school that but his Mommy knows the truth!! Second, he wears those eye things every night and LOVES them!! I just think that is so funny. For those of you who know Carsen well you aren't surprised by that!! Finally, I love that Carsen and Presley are so close. They have asked me lots of times if they could share a room. With their ages I have decided against it but I do allow them to sleep in each others rooms on weekends. They think that this is such a treat. Every time we go in to check on them they are all snuggled up together. As a mom this just makes my heart happy!! I love that they are so close and even though I know that they will have their ups and downs my prayer is that they will always remain close to each other. I guess we need to look into a bigger bed because I know that in a couple of years Camden will want to join them. Watch out!!!

Oh what it is like to have BOYS!!!

Yes that is a play knife!!!

And a gun!!! Who cares that the bunny is pink!!

So for all of you who only have girls I wanted to give you a little glimpse on what your day might look like if you had some boys around. This is what I saw when I came out of my bathroom to go downstairs. I asked Carsen what he was doing and he said that he was hunting "Abbie" (our dog!!) and this was his army. I know what you are thinking it is really hard to take him seriously with no shirt on and a night patch on his head (which he sleeps with every night!!). All I can say is trying living with him!!! He keeps his Daddy and I in stitches on a daily basis!!! Life would be so boring without him in it!!!

What a Face!!!

I couldn't pass putting these on here. How cute is this little boy!!! Look at those pearly whites!! I can't believe how quickly he growing up right before my eyes!! Believe me when I tell you that he uses his teeth for more than just eating. He has been know to bite his brother and sister!!! So don't let the cute little face fool you that is just the way he lures you in!!!

Carsen's Baseball Party!!

Eating Pizza with friends!!

Boys will be boys!!!
Well, another season of baseball has come to pass!! Carsen was on Mr. Bowdie's team again this year!! He has so much fun playing baseball and has really become very good at it!! He played 2nd base this year and did very well. Tom and I love to watch him play. He has really learned the game and it is such a joy to see him making such great new friends. It is neat to see how quickly they mature from season to season. Having Bowdie for a coach is such a blessing to our family. He really takes time with each of the boys and teaches them the game of baseball. Not only is baseball taught to these boys but Bowdie and Andrea make it point to open their home and show these boys the love of Jesus which lets just face it is not common of most coaches!!! We are thankful for all of the relationships and friendships that we have made at the baseball fields. Tom, Presley, Camden and I are and always will be Carsen's BIGGEST FANS!!!! We love you Carsen!!!

The Wonderful World of Disney!!!

Oh my!! Nothing screams Carsen more than this hat!!!

Ommie with her prince charming!!!

Tough day at Disney!!!

Granddaddy getting nervous before a rollercoaster!!! You can do it Granddaddy!!

These two are ALWAYS together!!!

Presley is not impressed with any of the character's at Disney!! Classic Presley look!!

Carsen LOVES all of the characters!!! He enjoys everything about Disney!!!

Honey I shrunk the Kids playground!! One of my kids favorites!!!

What else can you say about Disney!!! It really is the most magical place on earth!! Everytime I come here with my kids I am so thankful that I have these memories with them. I will admit that most of the time I am here my eyes are filled with tears at how happy my children are and how lucky we are as a family to be able to make these kinds of memories with our children. It is hard to come to Disney and not feel like a child!!! I love seeing the princesses even more than Presley!!! I begged her to go to Bibbity Bobbity Beauty Salon but she would have nothing to do with it!! I will be honest I almost went on my own!!! Maybe next time I will be able to talk her into it!!! I guess that is what makes Presley who she is and of course I wouldn't change that for the world. Carsen on the other hand is all about the characters and the fun this place has to offer. His favorite thing this year was his Goofy hat!! He didn't take it off the whole time we were there. I love that he is almost eight and could care less what other people think of him!! I think he gets that wonderful quality from his Daddy!! I love that no matter how old we think they are getting they are still little kids at heart!! Camden was such a joy to take. We really didn't know what to expect of him of how he would handle this trip only being 8 months old. We couldn't have asked for a better baby!! I can't wait to bring him back when he is a little older!! This year we got to go with my parents which was such a joy!! As grandparents I don't think you could ask for anything more than to see your grandkids at Disney!!! We can't thank Ommie and Granddaddy enough for using their vacation to make memories with our children!!! It is something none of us will ever forget!!!

Let's go Trick or Treating!!!

What a cute scarecrow!!!

Trick or Treating with the neighbors and family!!

Dorothy and her "little scarecrow"

When Christina told me that Camden could borrow Emerson's little scarecrow outfit for Halloween it was a no brainer that I was going to try to talk Presley into being Dorothy!! As you can see it worked. It was so funny I asked Presley if she wanted to be Dorothy and the first thing Carsen said was "Please tell me that I don't have to be the Tin Man!!" Now don't think for a minute that wasn't in my mind, but I do realize that he is 7 and it's not cool to be the Tin Man!! It is just so funny that my kids know me so well!!! Every year at Halloween we have our families over for chili and to see the kids all dressed up. Then we go out Trick or Treating and come back for some dessert!! It is a fun little thing to do and the kids love it!! Plus, it gives the grandparents a chance to see them all dressed up!! The greatest thing for my kids is dressing up because none of them like the candy!! I usually keep it for a day or two and end up throwing it all away!! What silly little ones they definately don't take after their mommy and daddy!!!

Presley's school Halloween festival!!

Mommy was a face painter!!!

Presley's school had a Halloween festival for her grade!! It was a lot of fun. They had everything set up in stations for the kids to visit!! Of course, I volunteered to work and they put me at face painting which is way out of my league!! Thank goodness it was just pumpkins, bats, and spiders!!! The kids had such a great time!! They got to make bird feeders, dig spiders out of goo, have a story time, and much more!!! What a fun way to kick off the Holiday Season!!!

Halloween Playgroup!!

Boys will be boys!!!

There might be a future for these two!!!
Every year we do a playgroup where the kids get together and have a little party in their costumes. Since most of the older ones are in school this is a real treat for them. The moms decided to wait until they got out of school to do the party so they could be involved as well. Well, it is no secret how cute all of them look. It is so much fun to see all of them together and to stop and realize that they have grown up together. I am not even sure that they realize how special it is to have such good friends that they have known since BIRTH!! I know that one day they will look back on all of this and "really get it!!" For now it is us moms who get to share all of the joy!!! We have reached the point in our lives where we don't let little things like this pass us by without taking notice!! What a blessing all of these sweet children are to all of us!!!
