Presley's big Solo at Church!!!

Her big moment......you never know what will happen with Sissy!!!

Well it finally happened..... I have been waiting for a while and finally one of my children got a solo at church. Let me clarify it was a bible verse not a singing solo.... Still to Mommy this is big stuff. As many of you probably know I have always wanted a solo myself (even though I am clearly not good enough for one!!!) As you can tell it was a pj party for the choir so all of the boys and girls had to wear there pj's. Presley's big bible verse was Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:12 She did it perfect we were so proud of her. What a wonderful choir program we have for our children at the church we attend. It is such a blessing for our kids to be a part of it!!!

Let the Baseball Season Begin

Well my little baseball player is back on the field. Carsen loves this game more than anything I have seen. Over the years he has turned into the little baseball player. He has also taken his love for the game to a whole new level by watching it on ESPN and collecting baseball cards! He can pretty much give you the stats for all of the Yankee Players since that is his favorite team. I love watching him and Tom enjoying the games so much!! Believe me Tom could give you all of Carsen's stats as well but I am not on top of that like his Daddy.... All I know is that I am so proud of the little player that he has grown into and I am proud of how hard he works and enjoys playing the game ( I know that couldn't sound more like a Mommy!!) This is the first year that he has been a pitcher and he loves that so much plus he also plays first base. It is so much fun for the whole family to go to the ballpark and watch him play. I am glad that he is enjoying the game and learning such a wonderful team sport!!! Who knows he might even be a Yankee himself one day....You never know!!!

Valentines Day at Build a Bear....

We always take the kids out to eat and to Build A Bear on Valentines Day!!! This year Carsen and Presley just got outfits for their bears and Camden got to pick a bear (or froggy!!) He had such a good time stuffing it and giving it a bath!! The older kids had a blast helping him make is new little froggy!! Hopefully this will be a stuffed animal that he sleeps with but I wouldn't count on it!! So far he only attached to his paci....as you can tell by the picture. Happy Valentine's Day Mommies little ones!!!

There are so many things that I love about these pictures!! The first thing that makes me laugh is you can tell that Camden is child number 3... I would have never let my other two kids have a sucker this young!! Isn't it funny how much we lighten up as parents the more children we have. Also, I couldn't love his little hands and teeth any more!!! You know that when this was all said and done he was one big sticky mess (which makes his Daddy a nervous wreck!!!) but he LOVED it so I guess it was all worth it!!!

Missing Teeth...... A visit from the tooth fairy!!

You have to look really close or you will miss the fact that the little tiny tooth is missing but sure enough it did finally fall out. Presley lost her first bottom tooth at age six!!! Daddy has been trying to pull it for for the longest time and finally she gave in and let him!! Now for those of you who know Presley well you know that she was not happy about loosing this tooth or a visit from the tooth fairy. I am not sure that she spoke to Tom for a least an hour after he pulled it!! I know that most little girls are excited about the fact that the tooth fairy is going to pay a visit... but fairies don't impress Presley at all!!! Not Disney fairies or Tooth Fairies!!! She actually wanted to put her tooth in Carsen's room and have the tooth fairy go there!!! Finally, after a long talk with her Mommy she put the tooth in her room with a note for the fairy not to take the tooth!! Low and behold the tooth fairy did come and her wings left a trace of glitter on Sissy's dresser and her pixie dust turned the glass of water that Presley leaves in her room to drink PINK!!! Who knew that the tooth fairy could be so COOL!!! Now each of my children leave a glass of water out with their teeth to see what color pixie dust the tooth fairy will have!!! It is things like this that make me LOVE being a MOMMY!!!!

What.... Snow in Georgia!!!!

Look we actually have snow in Georgia!!! Every year we get a little and the kids get so excited. As you can tell by the pictures none of them have SNOW CLOTHES.... so we send them out in the warmest stuff we can find and then throw it all in the dryer and start over again. Thank goodness for us the snow is only on the ground for a day and then it is all over!!! That is what I love about living in the south.... you get just enough snow to have a fun day filled with hot cocoa and warm coats and then it is gone!!!

Carsen's 8th Birthday Party....

Carsen's Cool Star Wars Cake!!! His birthday present from his Mommy and Daddy was a brand new Star Wars bedroom!!! He couldn't have loved it more!!!!

Carsen's big 8th birthday party was at a place called Stars and Strikes... He invited 5 of his closest friends and we took them to bowl, Lazar tag, and bumper cars!!! What a blast it was!! I have never seen boys have so much fun!! This was such a great way to have a birthday party. Of course mommy can't believe that her little boy is a BIG eight years old!!! Where does all of the time go..... I remember when Tom and I brought that little thing home from the hospital and now he is almost as big as his Mommy!!!! With every year that this little bundle of joy grows I am always so proud of the little boy that he is growing into. I have always said that God has big plans for Carsen and I do believe that with all of my heart. He is such a sweet little boy with the kindest heart I know.... Carsen your Daddy and I couldn't be more proud of the person that you are growing into. Our prayer is that you will always allow God to lead your heart and trust in where ever he guides you!!! We love you little one!!!!
