Here comes the Texas Rangers!!

Check out those wrist bands!!(That is all Daddy!!!)

Yes he is a lefty!!!

Another baseball year has started!! Carsen is playing on the Texas Rangers this year. Coach Bowdie is his coach again this year and we are so thankful for that!!! Even though the parents are not allowed to pick which team the kids are on I was praying that we would be with Bowdie. He does such a great job with the boys. He really takes the time to teach the kids the game and he does it in such a gentle way!!! Carsen is playing second base this year and loving every minute of it!!! I am going have a little Mommy moment here and do a little bragging!!! I believe that we are all entitled to a little of that every now and then. He has had such a great season already. He has had 3 home runs (in one game) and has caught fly balls left and right. It is so fun to watch him play this year. He has a true love for the game. Every day he wants to go and practice with Daddy and is always asking when is his next game. It is such a joy to watch a little boy who enjoys the game it makes it all worth while!!!

Priceless Memories!!

I love that Camden is holding Carsen's hand!!!

These are some of my favorite shots that Chris took of the kids!! I LOVE the picture of their feet. I can promise that one will be blown up big and hung over my bed!! I love it when a photograph captures how small they actually are!! These pictures show how much they all love each other and for that I am ever grateful!!!

Pictures in the Park!!

How could you not kiss those cheeks!!!

My niece Chris is going to college to photography and wanted to take some pictures of the kids in the park. She did a wonderful job and got some really great pictures of the them. We all know how hard it can be to get a good shot of all three at once!! Every time I see all of them together in a picture I wonder how all of them could look so much like their Daddy!!! Camden especially looks just like Tom. I have never seen anything like it!! What a cute group of little ones!! Thank you Chris for taking time out of your busy schedule for these photos they are priceless. You did a wonderful job!!!

What a face!!!

Look how big this little one is getting. He is 9 months old and is wearing his first pair of tennis shoes!! Of course, Daddy loves this. I don't put things like that on him often because it makes him look so old and I know that it is only a matter of time before he will be living in tennis shoes like his older brother!! He is crawling like a pro (military crawl) and is pulling up to stand. I will not lie most of the time I sit him back down. You know me I will try to keep him "little" as long as I possible. He is eating everything in sight and LOVES table food. He wants everything that his brother and sister have!! I know that it is only a matter of time until he is mobile and life as I know it will be turned upside down!!! Sweet little baby boy!!

Carsen in his Classroom!!

I love that Carsen is in the Second grade and will still wear the Burger King Crown!!!

Where do I even start with Carsen. He is one of the sweetest, kindest, soft hearted little boys I know!! I have watched him grow into such a little gentlemen over the years. He is always looking out for others (especially his little sister!!). He was excited for school to start, but I think he was most excited about Presley being there. He feels like it is his duty daily to walk her to class and make sure that she is taken care of. The picture that I posted with the two of them holding hands that was Carsen's idea and it hasn't stopped. I watch him everyday from carpool grab her hand and lead her to class. It is in those moments that I am so proud of both of them. They look out for one another and have always been so close. I thought that once they hit this age it might stop but so far it hasn't!!! Truth be told for those of you who know Presley well know that she doesn't need anyone to take care of her, but she always allows Carsen to play the role of protector!! Carsen loves his school and has made great friends. He looks forward to going and of course knows all the teachers and workers. Carsen, every year you amaze me at what you become. I have always said that God has something special planned for your life. You are the light of my everyday. I couldn't be more proud of the man you are growing into. I don't think that you realize how much you teach me on a daily basis!! I pray that love you have in your heart for others will only grow with you. You show me everyday what it is like to love Jesus as only a trusting child knows how. I am so proud to have you as a son!!!

Presley in her classroom!!

Presley with her teacher!!

Presley with her Para pro!!!

Here is the BIG girl eating breakfast!! Daddy and I always take them out to eat before the first day of school!! It is one of those things that we all look forward to!! Presley looks so grown up. When we got to her class she walked right in like she had been there for years. I couldn't have asked for two better teachers!! They are both so sweet and I got that nice feeling that mommies get when they know that their child is placed with wonderful teachers!! There is nothing better than knowing that your child is being loved on while they are at school. Presley, I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of the young lady you have become. It is my prayer that you will touch the hearts of your friends and spread the love of Jesus to people around you. I know that God has so much in store for you and I cannot wait to see it unfold over the years. Always remember the words to your favorite song at the moment "There could never be a more beautiful you!". I love you with all my heart and feel so blessed that God chose me to be your Mommy!!

The First Day of School!!!

It doesn't get any cuter than this!!! Carsen LOVES taking care of his sister!!!

Well, the time has come!! I now have a big second grader and a big kindergartner!!! I really can't believe how quickly they are growing up!!! It seems like just yesterday I was dropping them off at preschool!! Tom has a little tradition of making the kids a sign each year for the first day. This year Carsen wanted a life saver and Presley wanted a butterfly!! Carsen's sign says "May the force be with me in Second Grade!" Presley's says "Flying into Kindergarten". I really look forward to these signs because even though Tom won't admit it he loves doing them and they make the greatest pictures!!! Ommie came over early so she could see them before school and watch Camden while Tom and I took them out to breakfast at Burger King!!(Another tradition that we do every year!). Then we drove them to school and walked them in and of course I held it together while we were there but once I got back to the car I began to cry!! I have heard people say that the more kids you have the easier the first day of Kindergarten gets. I do not believe that is true!! I miss my little ones being at home. I know that they have to grow up so I will continue to embrace every milestone and make wonderful memories as the years go on!!

Special treat before Kindergarten!!!

The Sunday before the first day of school I took Presley to get her nails done. This is such a treat for her. I let her get the works (after all how many first days of Kindergarten do you have!!) She thought that she was big stuff sitting in the chair and working the remote. I let her pick whatever color she wanted and I let her get a flower on each big toe and thumb nail!! This is such a special treat for the two of us. I love it when she comes with me and I tear up every time because I know that in a blink of an eye I will be bringing her to have her nails done for her first big prom!!! Enough of that talk for now I am just going to live in the Kindergarten moment!!!

Callaway Garden Fun!!!

The kids loved it at the beach at Callaway!! They had this floating playground with a hugh rock wall and water slides. Of course, Carsen wanted to do this and so did Presley but she was to small!!! Carsen worked so hard to get to the top and he did it!!! Way to go Carsen!!! Mommy was a little scared once he got up there on how he was going to get down!! I don't know why I worry about these things because as soon as he reached the top he quickly slid down and went to do it all over again!!! Why would I expect anything else!!! This was Camden's first trip to the water and of course just like my others he loves it!! He had never seen the sand and it didn't seem to phase him at all. I have a feeling that he is going to be a little "fish" just like his big brother and sister!!!

Summer trip to Callaway Gardens!!

This summer we took a trip to Callaway Gardens instead of big Canoe!! Ommie and Granddaddy came with us!! The kids really enjoyed this trip! They loved the butterfly house. Carsen and Presley could not get over all of the butterflies and the pretty hummingbirds outside of the butterfly house!! This is always a great time of the year for our family we love to get away and take a nice little trip where we can relax and enjoy one another. Thank you Ommie and Granddaddy for being a part of our family memories!!! Even though Callaway was a great time I think next year we will return to Big Canoe so far it is our famiy favorite!!

My beautiful gifts from God!!!

I took some of these pictures at my house and some at my mom's!! Let's just be honest the one's in front of the pretty flowers are at my mom's!!! Anyone who knows me knows that those flowers would not be in my yard!!! I don't have the greatest track record for keeping flowers alive. On a better note it is obvious to see that I do have a great track record for beautiful kids!!! (At least I think so!!) Everytime I see these cute little smiles I am reminded of just how beautiful God's glory really is!!! Who would have ever thought I would be a Mommy? Let alone the Mommy of such loving and caring little ones. God truly does show his beauty to me everyday in the little smiles and kisses I receive from the greatest gift he could have every given me next to my salvation!!!

Neighborhood Cookout!!!

The neighbors decided to have a little cookout before summer got away from us. The one thing that we love about our new house is that we live in a neighborhood were everyone is friends!! The kids love having friends to play with and the adults are always looking out for one another. We had a cookout and brought all of our fun yard toys out to play with the girls can't get enough of the barbie jeep and of course Camden LOVES it too!!!
