I will admit that Tom and I were a little nervous that
Carsen wanted to wear his Goofy hat to school for hat day. Plus, he said that it wouldn't be complete without the Goofy shirt. This really threw me over the edge. My biggest fear was that someone was going to make fun of him. Tom really tried to talk him out of it but he was dead set on wearing it. It's funny when you stop and think about it how much we learn from our kids. He is just being himself and he doesn't care what others think of him. This day in particular it was my son who taught me a lesson. I will be the first to admit that this happens often!!! When I picked him up from school he was still smiling from ear to ear. I asked him if everyone liked his hat and he said "Of course they did mommy!!!" What a sweet little boy!!!
