Picking Fresh Strawberries

So picking Strawberries was my idea I will admit. However, it was one of those "Mommy ideas" that is much better in thought than theory..... To put it kindly the kids did not enjoy this little outing at all. I came up with the idea because Camden LOVES strawberries so what better thing to do than to take him to a strawberry patch right? Well, being the little boy that he is all he wanted to do was run in the open field of dirt!!! Go Figure!!! Not sure why I didn't think of that before I loaded everyone in the car on an 90 degree day (Ha!Ha!). In the end we did get a bucket of strawberries which all of us enjoyed. Camden ended up eating more strawberries at the patch than he did at home. Carsen and Presley loved picking them but sissy was so concerned about Camden running off that she spent more time looking at him than she did looking for Strawberries. I guess we will have to wait until Little Camden is older to enjoy the Strawberry patch for now we will just be buying our strawberries at the store!!!
