My sissy is never Far!!

Presley loves her little brother so much!!!! She can never stay away from him. I promise that must tell her at least 50 times a day to get out of his face!!! I figured I will just let it go because I know her day is coming when he will be big enough to push her (gently of course) out of the way!!! She always says to me "Mom I just Love him so much!!!" Can you blame her?

Aunt Dianne came to visit!!!

Last week Camden, Presley, and I were all sick with the flu!! My Aunt came over to visit and bring us soup and cookies!!! I love Aunt Dianne's chicken soup and my kids LOVE her cookies!!! Plus, this gave her a little time to hold Camden and cuddle with him while she was here. Of course, he never minds any kind of lovin!!! He was getting tired while she was here and she got him right to sleep!! I told her that she still had the touch. Of course, I am not sure if mommies ever loose the touch it just passes on from one generation to the next!! Thank you Aunt Dianne for the goodies the kids ate the cookies up in two days and then cried when they were gone. Apparently I need to bake more!! (ha! ha!)

Look how BIG I am getting!!!

I'm sorry but this little outfit is the cutest thing that I have ever seen. It is blue and white and has a tiny little grey mouse on the front. Thank you Mrs. Christina for letting us borrow it!!! The other day when I put Camden in his swing I couldn't for the life of me get over how big he looked. He is soon to be 4 months which seems unbelievable and check out his hair!!! It is getting more red by the day!!! I don't know how it is possible but as you can see Tom's genes just keep getting stronger with each child!!! We could have a dozen and they would all look like him!!!

Camden working with Daddy!!!

One of the advantages to Tom working from home is that he gets to spend some of these special moments with Camden. Here you can see that they are both "fast at work" (ha! ha!) There is nothing like getting to hold your baby in the middle of the afternoon while he is sleeping. That is something that you can't do from an office. Even though Tom doesn't get a chance to do this daily I think he would agree that the times he does get to do it are Priceless!!! We thank God daily that Daddy gets to work from home!!!

Presley sings at school "Mighty to Save"

Presley's school had a "Parent Appreciation Day" they did a performance for all of the parents. One of the songs that they sang was "Mighty to Save". They had blue t-shirts printed for all of the kids and their pray is that these t-shirts will be a witnessing tool to the community. This is always such a special day for me. I love to hear the children sing about the love of Jesus. It really seems to put things into perspective for me. I am really going to miss this school next year and all of the Godly men and women that surround Presley on a daily basis!!!

Ninny and Grandpa Visit

My grandparents are here visiting from Florida. This is the first time that they have seen Camden since he was born. Of course, it was love at first sight. He is getting so big right before our eyes. Ninny had such a great time holding him because he is such a snuggler!!! I don't have any idea where he gets that from he hardly gets held at all by his mommy!!! (ha!! ha!!) Tom is always teasing me that I never put him down. I know that there are plenty of people out there that will say he is spoiled but to be honest I really don't care!!! I know how quickly this time passes and I plan to soak it all in while I can!!!

A day at Babyland General!!

For those of you that know Presley well this picture is no surprise to you!!!

Grandma Heaton wanted to take Presley to Babyland General to see the Cabbage Patch Kids on her birthday but since Camden was born we decided to go in March. What a great little place. I have never been before myself and even though I must admit that the fact that these baby's are born out of a cabbage freaks me out a little it was all very cute!!! Presley LOVED it and couldn't stop looking at all of the little babies that were all around her. While you are there you actually get to see them being born and they let someone from the audience name them so Presley named one of the little girls Maggie Cindy (after Grandma Pettica and Ommie). For those of you that no Presley well you know that she is not really a "doll" kind of girl. Grandma wanted to buy her one of the dolls and she kept saying no. In the end she did come home with a baby named Lyndsay Martha!!! Believe it or not she has been playing with her and her skin is the same as ours!!! Presley usually picks dolls, barbies, and babies that have dark skin because in her words "they are the prettiest!!!" Even when she colors pictures they have dark skin. God blesses me everyday with the inocence of a children. I wish that all of us could see colors the way children see them. Thank you Grandma Heaton for a great day!!!

Carsen's First Basball Game 2009

Well, it was a great day at the ballpark. I must admit that really enjoy watching Carsen play baseball. This year his team is the A's (Daddy is happy that it is not the Mets again!!) all of the boys are so big. It is so neat to see how they improve year after year. Carsen is really into to it this year and loves playing for Coach Bowdie. His first game was quite a nail bitter for Mommy. He was hit in the head with baseball while he was up to bat. It just got his batting helmet so he was fine. It was so funny because as soon as the ball hit him he put his bat down and walked to first!!! Then when he was on second base he and the second base man ran into each other and hit the ground. All ended well with the A's winning and Carsen getting the game ball!!! Go A's!!!

Wacky Wednesday!!!

Presley's school had Wacky Wednesday today and after some serious talking into this is finally the outfit I was able to get Presley to wear!! Yesterday when they put her in the car the teacher said don't forget about Wacky Wednesday and I looked at Presley and she just rolled her eyes. Later she informed me that she was not going to school because she didn't want to dress Wacky!! I came up with lots of ideas like crazy pigtails, pj bottoms, clothes backwards, etc.... None of which she fell for!!! Finally, Carsen talked her into wearing different shoes, socks, and hair bows!!! What can I say.. My kids are so different Carsen would have been all over this but for those of you who know Presley well know that she is not going to do anything she doesn't want to do. I guess I should be grateful that she likes all of her things to match right?

Mommy's Little Lamb!!

I had to get a picture of Camden in this outfit!! It is by far one of the cutest things I have ever seen. My friend's Michelle and Kevin gave it to him at one of my showers. It has a lamb face on the front and the feet of the outfit are lambs as well. Just when you think it can't get any cuter when he is on his back it has a lamb tail!!! He is tough looking lamb by the middle of the day with his spiked hair!! Thanks Mrs. Michelle and Mr. Kevin we will save this picture for when he is trying to win over Caroline!!!

Our Snowman!!! (God Bless Him!!)

This is the best we could do with the amount of snow in our yard!! The snowman is a Plumadore so of course he is a Miami fan complete with the hat!!! His eyes are made out of grapes and he has a carrot for a nose. Not the typically things for a snowman but you have to give us an A for effort. These are the kind of memories that your children look back and remember I am so grateful to have these times with my family. Tom's life long friend Glen came to visit us and he helped with the snowman!! The kids just had the greatest time. At least this year is was a snowman last year when it snowed we had to build a snow giraffe!!

Snow in March!!

Presley is catching snow flakes on her tongue!! When she is not doing that we catch her eating the snow!!

Well, it is March 1, 2009 and we got our first and only snow!!! The kids are so excited because they don't see snow that often so they try to get on and play in it as much as they can. As you can tell we aren't equipped for the the snow here so they don't really have the proper clothes play in the snow. After about 10 minutes their gloves are soaking wet along with the rest of their bodies and they want to come inside. Tom and I just laugh and let them go!! They have the greatest time. Just to give you a better picture I am standing on the porch taking these pictures with no coat or gear!!! The joys of living in the South!!!

Crazy Hair!!!

If you think you are having a bad hair day think again!!! What do you do when your hair looks like this? Poor Camden we brush his hair and even lay it flat with water and no matter what it still comes back to this!!! I must admit that at least he wears it with a smile!!! I am pretty sure that Daddy will be breaking out the hair product soon to straighten this mess out. This is hair that only a Mommy can love!!! Sweet baby boy!!!

Giving Grandma Heaton some Lovin!!!

We go to Tom's mom's (Grandma Heaton) house for lunch every Sunday!! It has become a tradition with our family. The kids love going there for Pasta and of course Grandma always has a great dessert for them to enjoy. Camden is catching on to this tradition quickly. He loves smiling and talking to his Grandma. I am pretty sure he is looking forward to his first taste of Pasta!!!

Granddaddy's little buddy is not so little anymore!!

Carsen has always loved to lay with my Dad!! However, it used to be a lot easier when he was smaller. One of the things that I love about this stage in Carsen's life is that he tries to act like such a big boy (After all being seven is an adult in his eyes!!!) but deep down inside he is still Mommy's little boy!!! He has always loved to cuddle and so far he has not out grown that. He loves laying on my Dad when he has his PJ's on because he says "Granddaddy keeps me warm!" I am so thankful that my children affectionate. I hope that is something that they never outgrow!!!
