Carsen's Field Trip to Fernbank....How Cool!!!

This machine made a real tornado!! It was the coolest thing at Fernbank!! At least according the the second grade!!!

Well this was an experience for me in many different ways. This was the first time that I had been to Fernbank.....What a cool place. I have to admit I was pretty excited to go on this Field Trip with Carsen's class. Now to start the day out I got to be one of the lucky parents to ride the bus!! Wow!!! That was quite a treat!!! Then once we got there I was assigned to 6 kids that I was responsible for the whole day. For those of you who know me well know that I take that job way too seriously!! To make matters worse I had all of the kids who are big wonders so I could never find them which made me crazy.... I swear there were a few times I almost put the place on lock down myself!!! All joking aside I had a great time. I always walk away from these experiences with such a high appreciation for my kids teachers. What a blessing it is for me as a mom to see all the hard work that goes into a school day. Every year that I am up at the school I am so proud of the hard work that goes into my kid's day!! What a blessing and true calling it is to be a teacher.... As a mom there is no way I could thank them enough for all that they do!!!

Mowing the Lawn with Daddy

Nothing like cutting grass in a john john with a Bop Bop!!

Ommie bought Camden a little Lawn mower for outside since he loves to watch Daddy cut the grass!! He loves it so much as soon as Tom starts to cut the grass he runs to get his lawn mower and help!! What a big boy!! Little does he know that his Daddy will probably have him doing this as one of his chores before long. I guess I better save this pictures so that I can have them for proof one day that he did mow the lawn with a bop bop!! I can only imagine that this photo will be a lot different when he is a teenager!! I am sure that he will be in some sort of athletic shorts and no shirt on!!! Great!!!

Let the TROUBLE begin.....

What a face.... He couldn't get into trouble right?

Well the time has come for gates, child proof locks, and child proof doors!!! Now I would like to tell you that we went to the store and bought all of the latest child proofing equipment.... but who are we kidding he is child number three!!! So you will believe me when I say that I let him eat the lucky charms right off the floor because it was the only way dinner got made that night and the other two children came to join him for the snack!!! The gate for the steps is usually Carsen and I don't have the first thing on any of my cabinets!!! My how laid back Mommy and Daddy have gotten since our first born!!!

Fun Day at the Zoo

Mom and I decided to take the kids to the zoo over Spring Break for a treat. We have never been before and the kids were so excited to go. It was a great day as well not to hot thank goodness!!! The kids really loved seeing all of the animals. There favorite thing to do by far was feeding the parakeets!! They give you this little stick with birdseed on the end and you walk into a room filled with parakeets and they will land right in your hand to eat. Of course the trick is doing this first because you can imagine that they get pretty full by the end of the day. We did this twice and the kids would have done it over and over if Mommy would have let them!!! I think our second favorite thing was the Panda's they were so beautiful. As we were waiting in line to see them I was holding Camden and talking to the other two and noticed that Camden has his arm elbow deep into the ladies purse in front of us!!! I hope this is not a sign of things to come!! Ha!Ha! Sweet baby boy!!!

A Blue Willow Inn Easter

Little Baby still has his Bop Bop!!

This year the family went to Blue Willow Inn to eat for Easter.... What a great idea!!! We had a great meal, quality family time and best of all NO CLEAN UP!!! All joking aside this really was a great place to go and eat we really got a chance to visit with one another and not have to worry about all of the cooking. Plus, they have great places to take pictures. The Bunny always come around with Candy for the kids (Carsen is the only one of mine that will go near the bunny though!!). Plus they have a big yard for the kids to play in while we are waiting to get seated. I do love having family gathering at my house but there is something to be said for having a holiday that is this stress free and fun for everyone. I hope that this is one of those family traditions that continues on for years to come!!!

Coloring Easter Eggs...What a great tradition

We color Easter eggs every year on the Sunday before Easter. All of the Mommies get together with the children and we order Pizza and let the kids color the eggs however they want. We all have our favorites that we like to do.. I always color on pink and green polka dot, Carsen always makes one with the Yankees and Miami, Sissy always makes one with a cross..... And then you have Ommie who always makes one with her famous bunny!!! If that is what you want to call it.... It actually looks like a cross between a dog and a fox!!! We all get to laughing so hard that we almost cry!!! Easter just wouldn't be the same without Ommie and her bunny egg!!! You know that we love you Ommie!!

Sissy's Easter Egg Hunt at School

Look at those little gaps from loosing sweet little teeth!!!

That is such a little Presley Face!!!

What a fun little treat for the little ones. All of the kids for the whole Kindergarten sent in 12 eggs per child and they had one BIG Easter egg hunt. The kids had a blast collecting their eggs they were only allowed to get 12 eggs each but they were all filled with goodies!! What Fun!! Look at how cute their little bunny bags are that their teachers made out of brown paper bags!!!

Camden has fun outside and gets a new toy!!

Camden is in love with Cars..... Any kind of Cars! So when I saw this at the store I knew that he would LOVE it!! I was right! As soon as he came down from his nap he started playing with it and didn't stop until bedtime. I love to see it when there face just lights up over something like this. Now if I can just keep Carsen and Presley out of it we will be doing good. It is just like anything else if it is in the house it is fair game!!! Hopefully Camden will be able to stand his ground so that it doesn't get broken!! (Something tells me he will be just fine at doing that!!) This is going to be another fun toy for outside. All of them love to be outside with bubbles sidewalk chalk or anything else they can find to do!! Needless to say we live outside most of the time so this will just add some extra fun!!!

Carsen Playing Baseball

Here are more pictures of Carsen doing what he loves most in the world BASEBALL!!!! What a good season he had this year and something fun that the ballpark offered was shirts for the family that had your players number on the back. So of course, being the corny family that we are (at least that is what Daddy says!!) we all had shirts with Carsen's number on the back and different sayings!!! Even little Camden got in on the fun and his said Carsen's biggest fan!! There is not even a question of whether or not we wore them for every game!! You know that we did!!! I can tell that we are all going to have great memories of being at the ballpark... Way to go Carsen we love you!!!
