Market Day at Carsen's School

Presley showing off all of the cute things Carsen got for her at Market Day!!! Of course, that headband is right up her alley!!!

Carsen's school had a Market Day for all of the first grade classes. The kids had to make 20 items at home to sell at Market Day and they earned paper money at school for good behavior to shop with!!! Carsen was so excited about doing this!! Of course, I had a ton of cute ideas of things to make all of which got vetoed by Daddy and Carsen because they included "pom pom balls or rick rack" and were too girly. So we ended up making note holders out of foam and clothes pins and shooting stars out of Popsicle sticks and glitter. Carsen got to make his own sign to sell his items. He is a sales man just like his daddy because when time was running out he started cutting his prices to move his items!!! Needless to say they all sold and he was very happy!! When it was time for him to shop he ended up buying more things for other people than himself. He bought Presley a headband, bracelet, a heart, and a book mark. He is such a sweet boy with a big heart always thinking of others before himself!! We are so proud of you Carsen!!!

Sleepy Baby!!!

This is what I see in the morning when I go to get my sweet baby boy!! I love being a MOM!!!
Camden has just started to hold his head up really good. When you put him to bed he looks back at you and gives you a great big smile!!! (Yes he sleeps on his belly!!!) He loves to hold onto a blanket and suck on his paci while he is sleeping. Now lets get to the hair!!! I know that most of you probably think that I do that to his hair but I promise you I don't. This is really what his hair looks like when he wakes up in the morning. I actually have to work pretty hard to get it to go down. Every morning I go to get him out of his bed I can't help but think how lucky I am to be his Mommy!!! What a cute little boy!!!

Camden Turns Four Months Old!!!

Camden eats cereal for the first time!!!

Well, as much as I hate to admit it my little baby is getting bigger!! He turned 4 months old this month and tried cereal for the first time!! He seems to love it!! I guess he will be getting even bigger!! My how time flies!!! It feels like yesterday that he was born!!! I took him in for his check up and shots (sad!!) and he is doing great!! Check out that red hair!!! What a sweet little boy!! He is doing lots of new things this month.... The biggest thing is sleeping through the night!!! Plus he smiles and laughs so much!! He is just such a happy and good baby!! God has blessed us with a true joy!!!
4 months old:
Height: 24 3/4 inches
Weight: 14lbs. 8 oz.

You never know what you're in for!!!

Let me walk you through these pictures!! Every night before Tom and I go to bed we go into our kids rooms and "kiss attack" them!!! Our kids are such deep sleepers that you can give them tons of kisses and they don't wake up!! So as you can imagine we take full advantage of that. Now for the last month or so Carsen has been asking me for one of those things to put over his eyes while he sleeps!! (For those of you who know him well are not surprised by that!!!) Since I have yet to find one of those things he puts his pillow over his eyes with his head in the pillow case!! So when Tom and I go to check on him this is what we find!! As you can tell Carsen keeps us laughing even while he sleeps!!! What a sweet sweet boy!!!

More Easter Pictures!!!

Carsen and Presley looking at the fish in the pond at the Blue Willow!!

Camden and his Uncle Rick hanging out!!!

Sweet Ommie and Granddaddy!!!

What a cute group of kids with their Aunt Dianne!!!

Here is Presley getting a closer look at her Mommies favorite flower!! Everything about the Blue Willow was great for Easter!! The flowers in bloom were a perfect reminder of the new life that comes with every season!!! What a great way to remind our kids that God is the creator of all things.

Easter Lunch at the Blue Willow Inn!!!

Chase won these little bunny glasses while we were there!!!

We decided to have Easter Lunch at the Blue Willow Inn this year as a family. I must say that it took a lot of pressure off everyone. We were all just able to enjoy each others company and sit around and talk. No one had to worry about bringing food or doing dishes!!! It was a wonderful afternoon. I love being in an old Southern environment. There was an Easter Bunny handing out candy and prizes. Presley was scared to death of him. She started to cry and I asked her what was wrong she said "That bunny only has one tooth and that freaks me out!!!". Plus there were lots of southern women dressed and ready for Easter with LOTS of big hats!!! I just love living in the south. The whole picture just makes me smile!!! What a wonderful day full of memories!!!

Easter Breakfast with Family!!

After church we came back to our house for a small breakfast before we go to the Blue Willow Inn for lunch (Mommy's favorite!!) The kids look so cute in their Easter outfits and as you can tell their Mommy loves them in bunnies!!! Carsen of course just looks too BIG and I can't believe how quickly Presley and Camden are growing up!!! I wish I could just freeze time and keep them this small!!!

Easter Basket Fun!!

I could bite those chunks right off of his little legs!!!

I think 007 could have a run for his money with this pair!!!

Well, the bunny made a trip to our house with a few goodies!!! Presley got a Tinkerbell teapot house, Carsen got nerf tag (the bunny should have thought that through a little longer!!) and Camden got new paci's and spoons!!! Carsen always asks Daddy if he saw the bunny and Daddy always tells him that he saw him and kicked him in the Bunny Tail!!! This makes Carsen laugh so hard. Which I have to admit that image is pretty funny!!! We always let the kids play for a little while before church and then we start our day!!!

Coloring Easter Eggs!!

Mommy's sweet little baby!!!

Ommie getting in her kisses!!!

We colored Easter Eggs at home with Katie, Megan, Aunt Andrea, and Ommie!! We do this every year and it doesn't matter how old the kids are getting they always want to do it!! We all have our special eggs that we make!! Daddy always makes one with the "U" on it. Presley makes one with a Cross. Carsen makes on with a face on it and call it "Egg Head"!! Mommy of course made one for Camden with his monogram on it and polka dots (what else!!!). But our favorite egg on all is the one that Ommie makes every year with a bunny on it!!! Ommie has the ability to make a bunny funnier than anything I have ever seen!! I should have taken a picture of it to post!!! Don't worry Ommie next year we will post the bunny egg on the blog!!! (ha!ha!) As you can tell we have a great time!!! What a wonderful memory to make with our children!!

Monkey Joes with Ommie

As you can tell Spring Break was a big event for us. We went to Monkey Joes, the Aquarium, Bowling with Aunt Dianne and Uncle Rick, and spent the night with Grandma Heaton!!! Here are some pictures of the kids having a great time at Monkey Joes!! It is a place where they have nothing but jumpies (a great time for the kids!!!) My kids love to go there and what a way to wear them out!!! All they do is run around and jump!!! This is one of Daddy's favorite spots to take them because while they are jumping they have big leather chairs and a big screen for him to enjoy!!

The Georgia Aquarium

We went to the Georgia Aquarium over Spring Break with Aunt Donna!!! What a neat place. The kids LOVED IT!! Something like this is perfect for Carsen!! He is all about the facts and is one of those kids that actually pays attention when the exhibit workers are telling you about the fish. When you go through the tunnel they have this paper that you can take with you that tells you all of the fish that are in there and you can try to find them. Carsen and Presley had a blast doing that. They could have spent most of the day in that tunnel!! Camden also enjoyed looking at everything around him. This was a great idea for Spring Break since our weather was cold and rainy!! Thanks Aunt Donna for sharing the day with us!!

Easter Playgroup at Mrs. Kelli's!!

Here we are at Mrs. Kelli's house for our playgroup Easter Party. We decided to wait for the "Big Kids" to get out of school so that they could join in on the fun!!! We have been doing this for as long as I can remember. The kids hunt Easter eggs and play outside. All of the Mom's bring snacks for them to enjoy. It is a day of fun!!! I can't believe how big all of them are and how many of them there are!!! We are really doing our job to populate our county!!!

Carsen's FUN RUN!!!

Look how cute these boys are at the fun run!!!

For those of you who know Carsen well are not surprised at this picture. Carsen is a "joiner" at school. He love to be involved in any activity!!! It is one of the things that make me smile the most about him. As you can see he takes everything seriously as well!!! He ran 32 laps at the fun run to earn money for new computers at his school. Yeah Carsen!!! Of course, Mommy and Camden showed up for the event and took lots of pictures. Things like this touch my heart. I love to see the kids and teachers get so excited about a school event. This and field Day are always big days for Carsen!!!
