Wacky Wednesday!!!

Presley's school had Wacky Wednesday today and after some serious talking into this is finally the outfit I was able to get Presley to wear!! Yesterday when they put her in the car the teacher said don't forget about Wacky Wednesday and I looked at Presley and she just rolled her eyes. Later she informed me that she was not going to school because she didn't want to dress Wacky!! I came up with lots of ideas like crazy pigtails, pj bottoms, clothes backwards, etc.... None of which she fell for!!! Finally, Carsen talked her into wearing different shoes, socks, and hair bows!!! What can I say.. My kids are so different Carsen would have been all over this but for those of you who know Presley well know that she is not going to do anything she doesn't want to do. I guess I should be grateful that she likes all of her things to match right?

Mommy's Little Lamb!!

I had to get a picture of Camden in this outfit!! It is by far one of the cutest things I have ever seen. My friend's Michelle and Kevin gave it to him at one of my showers. It has a lamb face on the front and the feet of the outfit are lambs as well. Just when you think it can't get any cuter when he is on his back it has a lamb tail!!! He is tough looking lamb by the middle of the day with his spiked hair!! Thanks Mrs. Michelle and Mr. Kevin we will save this picture for when he is trying to win over Caroline!!!

Our Snowman!!! (God Bless Him!!)

This is the best we could do with the amount of snow in our yard!! The snowman is a Plumadore so of course he is a Miami fan complete with the hat!!! His eyes are made out of grapes and he has a carrot for a nose. Not the typically things for a snowman but you have to give us an A for effort. These are the kind of memories that your children look back and remember I am so grateful to have these times with my family. Tom's life long friend Glen came to visit us and he helped with the snowman!! The kids just had the greatest time. At least this year is was a snowman last year when it snowed we had to build a snow giraffe!!

Snow in March!!

Presley is catching snow flakes on her tongue!! When she is not doing that we catch her eating the snow!!

Well, it is March 1, 2009 and we got our first and only snow!!! The kids are so excited because they don't see snow that often so they try to get on and play in it as much as they can. As you can tell we aren't equipped for the the snow here so they don't really have the proper clothes play in the snow. After about 10 minutes their gloves are soaking wet along with the rest of their bodies and they want to come inside. Tom and I just laugh and let them go!! They have the greatest time. Just to give you a better picture I am standing on the porch taking these pictures with no coat or gear!!! The joys of living in the South!!!

Crazy Hair!!!

If you think you are having a bad hair day think again!!! What do you do when your hair looks like this? Poor Camden we brush his hair and even lay it flat with water and no matter what it still comes back to this!!! I must admit that at least he wears it with a smile!!! I am pretty sure that Daddy will be breaking out the hair product soon to straighten this mess out. This is hair that only a Mommy can love!!! Sweet baby boy!!!

Giving Grandma Heaton some Lovin!!!

We go to Tom's mom's (Grandma Heaton) house for lunch every Sunday!! It has become a tradition with our family. The kids love going there for Pasta and of course Grandma always has a great dessert for them to enjoy. Camden is catching on to this tradition quickly. He loves smiling and talking to his Grandma. I am pretty sure he is looking forward to his first taste of Pasta!!!

Granddaddy's little buddy is not so little anymore!!

Carsen has always loved to lay with my Dad!! However, it used to be a lot easier when he was smaller. One of the things that I love about this stage in Carsen's life is that he tries to act like such a big boy (After all being seven is an adult in his eyes!!!) but deep down inside he is still Mommy's little boy!!! He has always loved to cuddle and so far he has not out grown that. He loves laying on my Dad when he has his PJ's on because he says "Granddaddy keeps me warm!" I am so thankful that my children affectionate. I hope that is something that they never outgrow!!!

Smile Jesus Loves You!!!!

Presley made this little sign at choir. I thought it was the cutest thing ever!!!! Of course it might just be the little faces that are poking through it that makes it so cute. There is nothing like the face and smile of a child to remind you of God's never ending love!!!

Aunt Donna and Uncle David Visit!!!

On Sunday after church we had a special treat!! Aunt Donna and Uncle David came by to see Camden. They could not believe how BIG he had gotten!!! It is amazing how quickly they grow. Of course, they both wanted to hold him but as you can see Presley is never far away from her baby brother. I don't think that there is ever a time when she is not right in his face!!! I swear he knows when she is coming!!!

Playgroup Valentine's Day Party!!!

The Valentine's Day Party for Playgroup was at our house. The kids were all decked out in their red and pink (which was not planned by the way!!!). We had a great time eating snacks and decorating bags to put our Valentine's in. All of the brought a card for each of their friends and then I attempted to take a group picture of all of them. This was better in thought than theory!! I promise that Ethan and Davis were there but being the sweet little boys they are they let the girls have the spotlight!! (Or at least that's the way I saw it!!) Anyway, every time we all get together I look around and think how lucky I am to have such a wonderful group of friends to spend my days with and raise my children. We are counting on these children being life long friends.

Camden talks to Mommy!!!

Here is Camden talking to his Mommy!! I love the little noises that they make at this age!! You know that they are trying so hard to say something!! I can say with confidence that here he is saying that he Loves his Mommy!! Mommy love you to little angel!!!

Camden is 2 Months Old!!! (What in the World!!!)

My baby is already 2 months old and has found his smile!!! He is possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen. It is amazing how quickly they start to change. He is smiling, cooing, and discovering his hands. In case there is any doubt the idea that he might look like me has quickly faded. He looks more like Tom everyday. I told one of my friends it is like having Tom with me at all times. He is definitely a Mommy's Boy and I am not going to lie he is rarely out of my arms. I have learned very quickly how fast this time flies and I plan on soaking up every possible minute with him!!!
2 Month Milestones:
Height: 24 inches
Weight: 12 lbs. 5 0z.

Carsen Starts Baseball!!

Is Daddy hurt already?

Well, today kicked off baseball season. Carsen is on the A's this year and is really looking forward to playing baseball again. His coach this year is Bowdie Jenkins and to start off the year Bowdie had a cookout at his house and a ball game of Parent's vs. Kids!!! What a Blast!!! The kids and parents both were having the best time. Of course, there was a lot of talk of who was going to win. I am glad to report that the kids ending up winning!!! If you talk to the Dad's though they will tell you they won!!! It is such a joy to watch Carsen play something that he loves. It really makes the experience worth it. It is neat to see how much better they get in just 1 year. I will post more pictures once he has his uniform and I am sure I will be able to come up with something for Presley to wear to the games to support her Big Brother!!!

Camden and his new toy!!!

I look more like my Daddy daily!!!

I can't believe that his hair looks so red!!!

It goes without saying that Camden is growing bigger everyday!!! He is starting to discover the things around him so I decided to get out this toy and see what he did. Needless to say he loves it!!! He looks at all of the things hanging from it and smiles. Why is it that something this simple can make you heart melt and you eyes fill up with tears.

Carsen and Presley's Birthday Party

Carsen and Presley had their birthday party together this year at INK!! All of the kids had such a great time!!! It was one of the best birthday parties we have had!! Here are some pictures to enjoy!! Of course, I still can't believe that my kids are growing up this fast. I promise I thought they were still babies.
